We#BreakTheBreastTaboo & Capture the Ignorance - YOUNG WOMEN & MEN CAN GET BREAST CANCER TOO
1 in 8 women can have Breast Cancer in their lifetime and the incidence is alarmingly increasing worldwide. Unfortunately, the death rate is significantly higher in the developing countries compared to the developed world due to shyness, taboo & ignorance irrespective of education & socio-economic condition. Men have Breasts too and most men with Breast Cancer seem to have experiences of shock and subsequent embarrassment, battling the “stigma” of having a predominantly woman's disease. We break the culture enforced embarrassment and openly discuss about Breast health!
We preach the risk factors & preventable measures of All Cancer types.
Developing Countries - Challenges we address —
scientific solutions we provide
1. Lack of Knowledge & the reluctance to take care of breast health, perform Breast Self Exam, Clinical Breast Exam, Breast screening processes after 40-45 (mammograms/ultrasound), irrespective of education & socio-economic condition
2. We target the underlying problem—Embarrassment, Taboo, and Ignorance.
3. We address Dense Breast & issues with Mammogram
4. Poverty leading to difficulty to access early screening methods - we provide a simple screening solution in local languages
4. We capture Stress, Diet and Life style, obesity, Inflammation and Cancer, Risk factors, Genetics, Family History, Prevention of Cancer & Lack of research.
5. We provide help & scientific analysis & guidance to patients faced with cancer.
Developed Countries - We empower..
1. How mammograms may miss tumors if we have dense breasts. We discuss the effective screening processes with dense breast cases.
2. Environmental factors, workplace hazards, food & pesticides, & other factors that may lead to cancer
3.We capture Stress, Diet and Life style, obesity, Inflammation and Cancer, Risk factors, Genetics, Family History, Prevention of Cancer
4. We are investigating the occurrence of cancer in various ethnic communities.
5. We serve the underprivileged, uninsured, refugee communities.
6. We provide help & scientific analysis & guidance to patients faced with cancer.

BREAST SELF EXAM CARDS IN LOCAL LANGUAGES: OUR SOLUTION FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED SECTORS WHO CANNOT AFFORD OTHER SCREENING PROCESSES
YOUNG WOMEN & MEN CAN GET BREAST CANCER TOO. Start checking each month the moment you turn 17 year old.
Detect early via simple steps, simple language- We produced Breast Self-Exam (BSE) cards in local languages with our wonderful collaborators for both Women & Men that work wonders especially in the Developing Countries & underprivileged sectors in the USA with majority of population stricken by poverty who cannot afford other screening processes. Even the educated populace from urban sectors in developing world, are hesitant to go for regular Breast screening processes due to stigma & ignorance, therefore they accept the BSE cards wholeheartedly, an easy solution for Early detection. We navigate suspicious cases towards healthcare facilities and affordable options for underprivileged & uninsured populace, making sure no one goes untreated.

WE GO TO EACH HOUSEHOLD, WE HAVE A DATABASE OF EACH MEMBER. We take the suspicious cases to Cancer Hospital for further diagnosis and treatment. We take accountability of each patient
The inception of Village Adoption comes from an emotional drive, I met an 18 year old girl during the outreach in Bhorakhai on July 28, 2019 - her mother just passed away from Breast Cancer as she was not aware of the early signs & was shy to discuss due to Breast “Taboo”. That’s when I made the decision as a promise to myself- No more Lives to be Lost due to ignorance & stigma from this village. The 11 Revenue Villages BCH adopted since February 2020: Sundari Part-I, Sundari Part-II, Sundari Part-III, Sundari Part-IV, Boali (Boalihaor), Sentcatherine, Bhorakhai, Bidruhipar, Bhaurikandi-I, Bhaurikandi-II, Dharamkhal
