BCH youth Ambassador program (yap) Mentorship Workshop (Virtual) – Free, Once-a-Year Program

Why the BCH YAP Exists?

The 2026 YAP application deadline has closed.
To be considered for the March 2027 Youth Ambassador Program (YAP) mentorship workshop and qualify as a BCH Ambassador, please complete the application form below by February 20, 2027. This workshop is offered once a year only. Applications will be evaluated based on the submitted essay and/or prior volunteer experience with BCH, and selected participants will be notified of their confirmed time slots by the end of February 2027.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PREVIOUS BCH AMBASSADORS (2020–2025):
If you participated in the BCH Ambassador Program in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025, please do not sign up again, as you are already an ambassador. You are authorized to implement leadership programs; however, you must notify and obtain approval from BCH (lopa@breastcancerhub.org) before executing any outreach. This ensures you follow the correct protocols using BCH-authenticated scientific resources.

Topics to be Covered:

  • Cancer Biology (Etiology & Metastasis)

  • Preventive Measures & Early Detection

  • Risk Factors, Genetics & Role of Inflammation

  • Concept of Support Groups

  • Impact of Palliative Care

  • Grassroots Sustainable Solutions by Breast Cancer Hub

2027 YAP Eligibility:

  • Middle School (8th Grade), High School, Undergraduate, Professionals, or anyone interested in making a difference

Accomplishments & Recognition:

  • A Certificate of Achievement will be awarded for attending the workshop, serving as proof of YAP participation and completion of eligibility training.

  • Community outreaches conducted by Ambassadors will be published on the BCH website with a permanent URL, allowing you to reference, share, and highlight in your accomplishments

  • Volunteer Hours:

    • Attendance at the workshop does not count as volunteer hours, as it is a training session culminating in the award of a certificate

    • Conducting community outreaches under BCH guidance and prior approval does count

    • Bigger Purpose: Your outreaches will help save lives and provide an unparalleled sense of humanitarian impact and community service
