What a truly memorable and meaningful occasion!
I am deeply grateful to Dr. Didier Verhoeven, MD, PhD; a remarkable Medical Oncologist, for inviting me in 2021 to contribute as a co-author to this important book. It was incredibly special to see his vision come to life in 2026, as Medical and Molecular Oncologists from around the world came together over the years to create this beautiful work, dedicated to advancing global quality breast cancer care.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Didier Verhoeven, his wonderful wife
Dr. Jana Vavrova, and their beautiful family for their exceptional warmth, hospitality, and generosity. We felt truly welcomed and touched by their kindness.

It was also an honor to be part of such an informative and inspiring panel discussion, held in the presence of Dr. Cathy Berx, Governor of the Province of Antwerp.

Most of all, it was wonderful meeting everyone in person, and sharing ideas and experiences from across the globe. These moments remind us of the power of collaboration and the importance of coming together to improve cancer care for patients everywhere.
Grateful for the new friendship, collaboration, knowledge, and memories created in Antwerp.
