“Ride 4 A Cause” – A Milestone for Colon Cancer Awareness Month
For the first time in Charlotte, Breast Cancer Hub (BCH) Wing – Colon Cancer Hub, dedicated to and in honor of inspiring Ravina Kashyap, Colon Cancer Conqueror, proudly hosted “Ride 4 A Cause” during Colon Cancer Awareness Month.
We sincerely thank Trials of Color (TOC) and Founder Sharon Rivera for the powerful partnership. TOC bikers rode through Virginia, Georgia, Maryland, and North Carolina, culminating in this impactful awareness event in Concord, NC.
BCH focused on critical topics such as Colon Cancer Screening, Clinical Trials, and Survivorship, with inspiring talks from esteemed speakers Dr. Raghava Induru, Sharon Rivera, Ravina Kashyap. We thank Idrisha Moulik for being the excellent Anchor, Namrata Kachroo for her eloquent vote of thanks, and Amrita Borooah, Ashley Balogh, and Emily Crago for their beautiful speaker introductions.
Through our BCH creative craft workshop, we honored TOC bikers, speakers, Concord PD, and Stephanie Ramm (City of Concord Parks and Recreation) with handcrafted NC-themed souvenirs.
Event Management Team (applause for flawless execution):

Creative Design Leaders (mentors to our youth volunteers):
Priya Roy, Rajashri Patel, Mahalakshmi Ramani, Sapna Bordoloi – for leading the creation of NC maps and BCH blue beaded bracelets with passion and dedication. A special thank-you goes to Sana Roy and Priya Roy for the souvenir concept: instant Polaroid portraits, which bikers took home as lasting memories.
We also extend our thanks to the decoration team, registration team, and all station leaders working in sync under BCH’s coordination.
Thank you, Agneya Roy, for inaugurating with the National Anthem.
This event was made successful by a powerful collaboration of leadership, creativity, and the dedication of our amazing student volunteers—a true step forward in raising Colon Cancer Awareness and saving lives.
With gratitude,
