From the Villages - Breast Cancer Hub adopted for door to door cancer screening, treatment management, Counseling and served with covid-19 response

BCH is an extraordinary non profit organization led by an extraordinary individual- Dr Lopa Das Roy . The organization was started by Lopa after a lot of personal sacrifice- in terms of her own career, family and personal growth . She has a single mission - to educate on early detection and prevention of breast cancer and hopefully eradicate cancer from this world with her research work .
I feel immensely proud and blessed to be associated with Lopa . BCH transcends all borders and treats every person with equality when it comes to providing support and education to anyone going through their cancer journey. I have been able to connect my close relatives and friends battling cancer and I have to ask them to stop thanking me for getting them into the network of BCH! The best part is the support and informed decisions is all free and just a text away!
I wish BCH the very best and may this organization continue to shine and lead the way in eradicating cancer

I became a part of the Breast Cancer Hub during my breast cancer treatment. It became the place where I could find all the support, motivation and guidance that I needed during this tough journey. The most amazing part of my journey was that, whenever I had any questions or concerns Dr. Lopa would take care of it within minutes . During this treatment I also realized that empathy is a very rare trait but if you’re a part of the Breast Cancer Hub, even this rare trait is in abundance there. I can’t thank Dr. Lopa and her support team enough for making this tough journey so easy for me. I believe that Dr. Lopa is a God sent angel for people like me and I think that the world would be a better place if we had more beautiful souls like her .

I am extremely thankful to the Breast Cancer Hub and Dr. Lopa in particular. The research the BCH does to serve underprivileged communities has an immeasurable impact. Throughout my time coordinating with Dr. Lopa, she was kind, thoughtful, and always willing to support me as a nascent public health researcher. She had the resources to also support my organization and its largest event of the year, our 20th Annual Charity Ball. Dr. Lopa is a true grassroots pioneer with the heart to do good work. I am very grateful I got in contact with her, and I will be staying close to the Breast Cancer Hub’s initiatives in the future.

I want to thank Breast Cancer Hub for paying for my surgery. I’m a farmer from Kambia Village and a mother of 2 children. I could not have afforded to pay for my own surgery but with your help you have made it possible for me. I thank you so much.

So far in my life, I have been a part of many nonprofit organizations. I will say, however, that NONE of them can beat Breast Cancer Hub (BCH). When I met Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy, I was immediately in awe of her dedication to this cause. She gave up her job and created this organization to save and support anybody who had breast cancer, or any other cancer for the matter, free of cost. I work very personally with Dr. Lopa as a research scholar and I have always felt that she dedicates her efforts tirelessly to the research involved in fighting this disease as well as community engagement. Conducting one of the two is hard enough, but she does both with a passion that is unsurpassed. 100% of the donations goes towards helping others. Our organization has adopted villages, we conduct community research on early detection efforts, and we seek to improve upon any challenges we have faced in the past. I can say that the only experience that I have had with BCH is positive. This is an organization that I hope to support for a lifetime, and these kinds of things are hard to come by. I strongly urge anybody wishing to join or to donate to take the leap because it is 1000% worth it! Thank you Dr. Lopa for your mentorship!

I am a doctor from Maldives and I have been a part of another non-profit organization ( Cancer society of Maldives ), supporting and advocating for cancer patients. I was introduced to Dr.Lopa through a friend and she introduced me to Breast Cancer Hub. Dr.Lopa responds to all my queries quickly and genuinely no matter how busy she is and she explains everything with so much passion and interest. She is always ready to walk that extra mile to help any patient in every possible way. I am always in complete awe of her ways of approach to any issue. I am totally inspired by the way the whole BCH community works together to remove the cancer related stigmas. Moreover, the support they provide to patients are immeasurable and priceless. I look forward to learn a lot from BCH community and specially from Dr.Lopa. I hope to provide a lot of information and guidance to patients undergoing cancer treatment in my community.

I was going through trauma when I was diagnosed with breast cancer but thanks to the timely support and counselling of Dr Lopa and BCH during my treatment I could sail past this traumatic moment. Dr. Lopa was just a call away whenever her advice was required. And many a times she was more helpful than my own oncologist. She has been a pillar of support for many like me. On her advice I joined BCH and got to meet many fighters like me and sharing each other’s experience was a great help. Thank you Dr Lopa for being with me in these trying times. My best wishes to you for your endeavour of creating awareness on breast cancer

I’ve worked with many non-profit organizations before but none of them compare to Dr. Lopa Roy’s Breast Cancer Hub Organization. In your life you meet very few people like Dr. Lopa Roy who have dedicated their lives for the welfare of the society. We appreciate and support her work and her dedication towards the welfare of society.
Thank you so much once again. Grateful for ur kindness. heartfelt Gratitude to Dr. Lopa Das Roy. Good wishes for ur bright future.

I interned with Breast Cancer Hub this past summer and it was an incredible experience. I learned so much about the barriers to breast cancer screening, the importance of outreach and cultural sensitivity in global health, and more. In addition, Dr. Lopa has been so kind and supportive; her passion and dedication to this organization is truly inspiring, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her. I would absolutely recommend the BCH internship to any other students who are interested in making a difference in global health.

BCH is an inclusive and diverse organization with a vision of a ‘cancer-free’ world! I joined BCH as a volunteer only in the fall of 2020, however my relationship with Dr. Lopamudra Das-Roy (the founder and president) goes back a long way. Back then, as her mentee, I knew Dr. Lopa as an exceptional mentor in college who not only was scientifically sound but also motivated her mentees immensely. As a women of science, she was critical, yet compassionate. BCH as an organization reflects her compassion. BCH began with an aim to fight against breast cancer in both women and men (which already is inclusive) not only in developing nations like India, but across many nations including the USA, where Dr. Lopa currently resides. Today, BCH family includes most cancers and has welcomed many volunteers like me who work with Dr. Lopa in different ways. I being a scientist myself, who takes ‘mental health’ and ‘social stigma’ issues very seriously, commend BCH for tackling them and sensitizing the society. BCH is a non-profit that relies completely on voluntary donations and has exceeded our expectations in terms of progress and community outreach. Village adoptions in rural India, working through the pandemic, mentoring sessions, motivational and clinical seminars are some activities by BCH. Overall, I am in immense awe of Dr. Lopa’s dedication which is quite contagious. Please join me like many others towards making this world ‘Cancer and stigma free’, help BCH flourish and support Dr. Lopa’s vision to create awareness and fight against cancer.

I am eternally grateful to Breast Cancer Hub for their Support with my 2 cycles Chemotherapy. This is a lot as I have been struggling financially since my diagnosis and was dumb founded when I Received the Funds from Thinking Pink on your behalf. I pray that the Good Lord will make you never lack and cause his light to shine on your organization

I have been following Breast Cancer Hub’s work for the past few years. I am really touched by the way Dr. Lopa’s work creates awareness at the grassroots level. My daughter volunteered over the summer for the database project for collecting information about hospitals helping the underprivileged. I was really impressed by the way Dr. Lopa explained what Breast Cancer Hub does. Dr. Lopa’s presentation had a great impact, that my daughter was completely motivated and in the summer, she took efforts every day to work on it. Dr. Lopa had so many projects for various age groups and I am in total awe of the way she handled every group and for motivating them to work. These young minds are the future and if they are motivated to work, then am sure, Breast Cancer hub’s presence is going to have a huge impact on society.

Breast Cancer Hub will help everybody who needs help on cancer diagnosis treatment and management. Cancer scares everyone and sadly people look for resources only when it affects them. For the under privileged, with no clue on how to start Breast Cancer hub is a huge life saver. I know from my own circle, people suffering from cancer. Many of them had no idea on how to go about and some did not find the right place. Breast Cancer Hub is the place for all such people.Under Dr. Lopa’s guidance.Breast Cancer Hub’s network is growing so fast that Dr. Lopa has done her presentations in so many places . I was surprised when I heard she had one of her presentations near my colony where I lived back in India. It makes me feel so happy that she is creating awareness in every corner on Breast Cancer. I will always be happy to contribute to any extent . Kudos to all their efforts.

Breast Cancer Hub is an exemplary organization supporting people around the world. BCH has many outreach programs to educate and bring early awareness about cancer. Dr.Lopa, the founder of BCH is very passionate about the cause and has been providing immense support to people in need. Dr.Lopa is an inspirational leader and amazing role model for the youth, guiding them how they can help the community at an early age. Kudos to the team!!!

If there’s one person who stood like a rock with my family right from day one was Dr. Lopa and the BCH team. With her rich expertise and knowledge she guided us at every step, showing us the light at the end of the tunnel. The selfless contribution of Dr. Lopa and her team has touched and changed so many lives who are not only living but thriving. I will be forever indebted to the BCH family.

Joining the Young Scientist Cancer Meet held by Breast Cancer Hub, I first met Dr. Lopa and learned about Breast Cancer Hub in 2019. From the first orientation session where I met with Dr. Lopa, I was truly amazed and inspired by her dedication and passion towards Breast Cancer Hub and the organization’s vision to improve awareness about cancer and access to healthcare in both developing and developed countries. From mentoring youth to spread cancer awareness to the various outreach programs that Breast Cancer Hub conducts to support communities in need, BCH tirelessly works towards achieving its mission of saving lives. BCH is truly such an incredible initiative that is making so much positive impact on lives across the globe, and I am so honored to be mentored by Dr. Lopa and have the opportunity to be involved with Breast Cancer Hub.

The work that BCH and Dr Lopamudra Roy are doing is tremendous - I have not seen so much dedication and enthusiasm towards this cause as I have seen with Dr Lopa , she is so selfless and driven in trying to spread awareness and help support people survivors

I was introduced to Dr Lopa through a friend of a friend. Her kindness and support and that of the whole Breast Cancer Hub community has been invaluable.
Being diagnosed with breast cancer is such a blow but being part of a network that truly understands helps so much. Every person on her international WhatsApp group is able to offer support and guidance from surgery options and treatments to vitamins during chemo and sourcing wig during a pandemic.
Thank you Dr Lopamudra ❤️

I met Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy, a few years ago and apart from becoming one of my healthcare inspirations, I’ve seen with my own eyes how she has helped thousands of cancer patients process their medical diagnosis by reviewing their medical results clarifying in laymen terms to assure full understand of the diagnosis and treatment plans. We’re great full for her support with care givers providing an opportunity for caregivers to share and support each other though her nonprofit Breast Cancer Hub, Believe me, she knows her research and her connection with additional cancer medical providers allows her WhatsApp support group to share and support each other. Not only has she built an outstanding support groups, for cancer patients and there family she provides additional information and resources on her web site https://www.breastcancerhub.org/ if you would like to donate or learn more about Breast Cancer Hub click the link.

Breast Cancer Hub has provided me with a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Contributing to its cause has inspired me to be a better person and recognize the value of information and spreading awareness. Dr. Lopa is one of the people I admire and look up to the most. Her dedication, perseverance, candor, and vitality inspire me to be a better person every day. Breast cancer hub is more than an organization: it is a place where people, regardless of who they are or where they are from, can share their stories and form a support group to empower one another. Thank you so much Breast Cancer Hub and Dr. Lopa for providing me with an opportunity that I will treasure forever!

Breast Cancer Hub is an amazing organization that I am proud to be a volunteer of. In addition to spreading awareness regarding early detection of all types of cancer in developing countries and minority communities in the U.S., BCH also provides research and volunteering opportunities to high school students, such as myself, to further spread awareness and dispel the taboo regarding cancers, especially in the South Asian community. Dr. Lopa, BCH’s head, is my personal inspiration. Her dedication and passion for BCH is incomparable, and her hard work has succeeded in saving many lives and has continued to spread the importance of early detection and regular screenings in both developed and developing countries. BCH is an amazing organization, and I am so glad to attest to the fact that BCH has made a positive impact in my life as well as around the world.

Breast Cancer Hub is a wonderful organization that serves an extremely important cause. There are many organizations which conduct awareness campaigns on special days and months, but BCH works at the grass-root level going to the people on a regular basis to spread the awareness, remind them to do a self Breast Examination and sharing the SBE Card - which BCH has now printed in several languages, and also the fliers about what can cause Cancer, etc, and all for free through the effort of volunteers and local field workers; and this is what distinguishes BCH from others. I was introduced to Dr. Roy though one of my friends and after hearing about her journey of leaving a well-paid career to work on this cause of spreading awareness about Cancer and breaking the Breast Taboo in the society, I was inspired to join her on this journey. July 2020 - I joined her team as the Chicago Chapter Director of Breast Cancer Hub , and I have had the privilege to work with the organization and Dr. Lopa. Even during the current Pandemic, the organization helped people in the adopted remote villages in India in a social-distanced Pandemic-friendly way, donating packages of hand sanitizers and Disinfectants. Every single volunteer, member, and coordinator in BCH work with so much passion and drive, and it has been such an honor and pleasure working with them on several occasions. Thanks to BCH, I have been able to spread awareness for breast cancer in my community. Truly happy and privileged to be a part of this amazing organization !

When I first join BCH as a volunteer, I was totally amazed by the sheer dedication of Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy, in making it possible what she actually believes in. Her devotion to the oragnisation, the members, the volunteers and each and every patient is what making us thrive to work very dedicatedly for the oragnisation motto i.e. Saving Lives by breaking the taboos of cancer , creating awareness, education & research and reaching & helping out to the previvors and survivors.

Dr.Lopa do not only just helps the cancer patients but she emotionally connects with them, their family members, provides support in each & every possible way. Infact, every member addresses concerns of the survivors regarding treatment, recovery, management, & most importantly undersatnding & sharing each others pain, trauma & just life . Anyone who joins the organisation are treated equally. The way this organization functions globally is amazing. We connect due to same belief and aim.

The kind of organisation BCH is, it should be flourishing. I urge everyone to donate for a good cause every profit/donations is solely directed for the wellfare of the cancer patients.
I think once you become the part of BCH, there’s no returning back & it will become an important part of your life as it has become mine.

I have been associated with BCH since the beginning. As someone who has gone through the experience of dealing with breast cancer, the work that BCH is doing resonates with me. The vision and the tremendous dedication of Dr Lopamudra Das Roy has shaped BCH to be a pioneer in the field of raising awareness and education on Breast cancer in underserved communities in my native state of Assam in India. The easy to understand breast self examination cards in multiple languages bring simple instructions in clear concise way that are helping women and men.
BCH also brings hard to find resources like early screening and even financial help to people. The organization. Is dedicated to make this world a better place by helping people.
BCH has operations in several countries including US, India, Bangladesh to name a few. Being a true non profit, every bit of donation goes towards its operations, BCH and other organizations like it are the true beacon of hope!

I am writing this review as an ambassador at BCH. Ever since I have been involved with this amazing nonprofit organisation, I have only been more impressed by each passing day by the incredible work being done here. The dedication, passion and hard work of Dr Roy, the founder of BCH is commendable! Even in the current pandemic scenario which has seen the biggest of (for-profit) companies grapple with a multitude of problems, BCH has continued to make a steady progress and achieve its set goals. The adoption of villages, timely execution of the scheduled cancer awareness programmes and the launch of new outreach programmes are some noteworthy examples. This is a testament to the pure dedication and the only motive with which this organisation is run, i.e., to create cancer awareness and save lives, no matter what! I am happy to be a part of this organisation and wish it a great success in all its endeavours!

BCH, a non profit organization is built on the foundation of my friend Dr. Lopa’s passion for education and empathetic support for cancer patients at large.
It is incredible to watch how this organization has evolved to be a leader-championing for cancer awareness, training and incredible support to cancer patients, survivors and families in developing countries such as India along with global footprint across various countries. Working at the grassroot level, growing as an Organization with core values of integrity transparency and true empathy - BCH has truly earned its top ratings and all stars for performance.
Both my daughters are proud youth ambassadors for BCH, participating in education programs, raising funds for BCH activities and raising awareness among friends and family members about Breast Cancer.
The incredible way in which Lopa trains the young minds motivating them and inspiring them to participate in this cause is a feat in itself! Our family is proud to be associated with this org for all the incredible work it does and the humanity it displays in its support to cancer patients.
If there were more than 5 stars, I would give them all to this Org!

Breast Cancer Hub is not merely an organisation. BCH Family is a movement to save lives from cancer through creating awareness, patient support and research initiated by the passion, belief and dedication of its founder Dr Lopamudra Das Roy . BCH is doing a wonderful job in different parts of India and across the globe. The interviews of BCH Advocates speak volumes of inspiration.. Salute to such a selfless work !!!

I really appreciate the incredible work of BCH Specially Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy. The way BCH has been addressing the issue of tabboo related to Cancer and Cancer death due to late detection is something very unique in its own way, it is really praise worthy. Through BCH village adoption project, they are reaching out the poorest of the poor, most marginalized and underdeveloped section of society in Cachar district of Assam. Common people of adopted village area are now aware about symptoms of several types of cancer as well process of Breast Self Examination and oral examination. BCH has been looking into other socio economic factors related cancer death. Several poor Cancer Patients are directly helped by BCH to access Cancer treatment. Patients are not only given financial help but also emotional support through counseling (support group), accompanying them to hospital for screening or treatment.

Breast Cancer Hub and Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy are doing phenomenal work in creating awareness and reaching out to people from all walks and all backgrounds of life with pertinent life saving information. Dr. Das Roy’s passion and dedication are commendable. She spends every waking moment and every ounce of energy to help families save lives by teaching them about early detection and arming them with required knowledge to prevent and fight this deadly disease. She is also a pillar of strength for patients who are battling cancer and also their ray of hope. Her selflessness and transparency with the workings of the organization has made it possible for the community to place unwavering trust in BCH. Every penny goes towards the cause, it’s heartwarming to read stories of children’s friends adults who have been helped through the organization. When Dr. Das Roy learned that my mother is a breast cancer survivor, she made sure to meet and interview her in Mumbai so my mom could share her inspiring and brave story with other women. Such is her devotion to her cause and mission.

Breast Cancer Hub is doing a great job under the able guidance of Dr.Lopamudra. My association with BCH has been extremely enriching both personally and professionally . BCH has empowered me to work for the underprivileged patients in far flung areas and made aid possible in no time at all. Dr. Lopamudra maam has been an amazing mentor and guide. Her relentless effort and selfless dedication to her cause is extremely inspiring. I hope i am able to do much more under her kind and learned guidance. I got introduced to BCH in 2019 by a friend and enrolled my children to the Youth Ambassadors event. Little had I realized I was going to meet an angel, Dr. Lopa. I feel proud and blessed to have met her, having been part of one of her many service efforts for the community. Learning and seeing her journey and the life changing grass roots services Lopa and her team offer to deserving and ailing persons has been heartwarming and an enriching experience giving confidence that there is so much goodness in the world and a lot to be inspired. Thank you Lopa and BCH for going above and beyond in your service to mankind and your esteemed mentorship for our next generation of kids to learn about the risks of cancer and to inculcate the noble gesture of giving and giving back from a tender age. Wish you the best in all your future endeavors!

BCH has done a phenomenal job not just to increase awareness for breast cancer and other cancers but their help to the general public during this Pandemic is truly creditable. Dr. Lopa Das Roy is a inspiration, a mentor and a guide for youth ambassadors like my daughter who were able to spread some awareness about different cancers during their summer programs.I wish BCH the very best and encourage everyone to support their cause and their initiatives in whatever way you can. Thank you Dr.Lopa and BCH for your service! The world needs more people like you

I have been part of breast cancer hub(Non-profit organization) from Day one. The goal of BCH is reaching out to people especially underprivileged across the world and help them with medical advice and support them in all the possible ways. BCH has also played major role during COVID times by making masks as a team and helping out adopted villages in India with food supplies. BCH provides opportunities for young scientists to grow in their path. I always get amazed by the way BCH team works towards goal with great enthusiasm from young to old volunteers.
Dr.Lopamudra Das Roy, has given up her career to dedicate her life to protect the lives of both men and women through this strong health support system. She is always there for the people and that is her top most priority. She is a great mentor for the young emerging scientists. She is a true inspiration for all the age groups and she is a great leader. I am proud to be part of BCH and feel blessed to know her closely.

I have known the BCH founder Lopa for over 5 yrs now - she is a woman with a purpose and passion to the cause of preventing and caring for breast cancer in both males & females. To leave a thriving career and become a force for a non-profit cause isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but her relentless dedication is unmatched. Breast cancer has been a taboo in even the most advanced of societies for decades now - Lopa has enabled many communities to openly talk about the cause & spread awareness in typically subdued masses. I encourage everyone to lean into BCH - learn more about it & contribute towards a greater good!
Ved Ghotge, USA
I was introduced to BCH through Dr.Lopa when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Since then, BCH has been my first go-to place yo clear any doubts during my treatment and recovery. At times, there are doubts that we either miss to ask our oncologists or don’t understand their advice completely. BCH has been a very helpful forum at such times. To quote an example, I was struggling with no sleep due to pain in my arm while sleeping. When I expressed this on the forum, a member was kind enough to immediately take pictures of right position to rest the arm and post back in the group. The Doctors in the group provide valuable second opinion which has helped people make crucial treatment decisions. Overall, this has been the best companion in my breast cancer journey due to the highly engaged team, thanks to the passion and efforts of Dr.Lopa.

Breast cancer hub is a great non-profit organization spreading the awareness of breast cancer under the guidance of Dr. Lopamudra Roy and its ambassadors and outreaches. Dr. Lopa has dedicated her life for the BCH organization to the benefit of others. She doesn’t hesitate to help others and treats everyone with the same respect and dedication. She goes above and beyond to educate and spread awareness of breast cancer. 100 percent of the donations go directly to the supporting programs. BCH is one of the top nonprofit organizations in America. I am glad to be supporting this organization.

I have had the pleasure and privilege of interacting with Breast Cancer Hub and Dr. Das Roy over the past couple of years. My daughter has been a student volunteer with BCH and under Dr Das Roy’s able guidance, has conducted two information sessions on Breast Cancer awareness. BCH is an organization that is completely committed to raising awareness about Breast and other cancers, in underserved communities in both developing and developed nations. BCH has been working tirelessly on cancer education, screenings, prevention in communities across US, India and other countries. They have run in-person (pre COVID), virtual awareness camps and have developed cancer self detection/screening information cards in 15+ languages. During COVID, BCH also adopted a couple of villages and provided essential commodities to the under privileged. Please visit their website for additional details on their philanthropic work and how you can potentially contribute to their cause. Thank you for your time

Breast Cancer Hub was an experience that I will never forget. Whether it was the research experience where I learned tons and tons of interesting and important facts about Breast Cancer or the opportunity to found a new chapter for Georgia and continue to spread the message about the dangers of being uninformed, I learned so much on my journey as a volunteer and founder in BCH. I wholeheartedly recommend everybody to get involved and help spread the message about Breast Cancer to save more lives.

What a novel endevour! Cancer does not see a person’s social status or financial status. It impacts everyone.Unfortunately, not everyone has the resources to get proper treatment & that’s where BCH comes in.BCH has made exceptional efforts in raising awareness & delivering treatment options to the most downtrodden members of our society.Reaching out to the most remote villages of the world & educating people about the disease itself & prevention & treatment options is no mean feat.I wish the very best to BCH in their honest & noble endevour.

I was able to work with Dr. Das through the BCH internship, and not only was I able to gain so much information about the fundamentals of research, but was ultimately able to publish my own lay review article that compiled various pieces of literature and made this information accessible to all.
Truly an amazing experience, where I was able to develop myself and serve the greater community in a meaningful way!!

I became acquainted with the Breast Cancer Hub through a presentation at our middle school which encouraged me to become an Ambassador for the organization. The mission of this organization is truly commendable because it is not only helping those who are affected by cancer but also striving to prevent tragedies in the future. Also, all of these measures are taken while inspiring the youth and creating leaders from the community. I would like to thank Breast Cancer Hub for impacting the community in such an important way.
Rakshita Raajesh, USA
I really enjoyed working with Dr.Lopa for the first time at the Cox Hill High School STEM Fair where we raised awareness about cancer. Before the event, she taught us about raising awareness for cancer, self examining cancer, and treating cancer. Dr.Lopa was a very kind and attentive mentor to me during our Zoom learning sessions. She is very passionate about what she does and she is very inspiring. Her enthusiasm inspired me to apply to the summer internship program where I hope to learn more about cancer research. I recommend BCH is a wonderful platform to give back to the community through raising awareness about the importance of early screening and diagnosis for cancers, especially breast cancers, where there is a lot of taboo about this in the community.

I volunteered for a Breast Cancer Hub event just a few weeks ago and Dr.Lopa is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Her cause is genuine and she just wants to spread awareness so that more people can be informed, and the way she does so is extraordinary. The entire organization has the same goal in mind and do amazing things to spread the word not only about BCH, but also about cancer. All of the volunteers also love helping this organization because they know it’s for a good cause and working with Dr.Lopa is always a pleasure.

Breast Cancer Hub is an absolutely amazing organization that does a lot for our community. From spreading awareness about breast cancer, information on important facts and symptoms, self-examination quizzes and many many forms of contact for assistance, questions and support! Breast Cancer Hub also highlights on a very important fact that breast cancer is also something that affects men as much as it affects women and this insecurity makes men feel ashamed of their situation when that is never the case! I’m extremely grateful to have been able to contribute to the ongoing projects in BCH and intern in Dr. Lopa’s amazing initiative towards a cause that is much needed! She’s done a fabulous job with this non-profit organization and I will forever be proud to have worked with her to help extend the platform!
Harshitha Surisetty, USA
BCH is more than just a non-profit organization. It is a support group that reaches out to people suffering with cancer, to come in terms with their illness by learning about their condition while realizing the importance of reaching out for early detection. I noticed this early on while volunteering as a research scholar for Dr. Lopa. My experience with this corporation enabled me to realize that advocacy can come in many forms and it is needed by individuals who come across cancer and are not aware of the available resources. BCH is equipped with the necessary knowledge through collaborations with multiple healthcare professionals. I encourage those who come across BCH, either as a family member of a person with cancer, or an individual with cancer, or even laymen to join this organization as it sticks to its sole purpose of serving the community by spreading awareness and enabling people to take control of their health.

Breast cancer hub is a platform where I stepped to encourage awareness about cancer. The organization, being in the hands of Dr. Lopa, is changing people’s lives. She is a distinguished personality who takes innumerable efforts to reach masses especially the underprivileged communities and provide help and care. BCH involves all age groups to support this cause, spread awareness, circulate self examination cards and brings into notice the early detection and screening tests. I feel immensely proud to be a part of BCH and would deliver the best of my efforts for the organization to grow.
Harsimran Kaur, India
Dr. Lopa and her tireless work through BCH has touched so so many lives and given hope to the affected patients and their families. I have personally benefited from her advice and support to my late Aunt during her last few weeks of trying to battle breast cancer.
May this organization continue to grow and spread its message and make a difference to all.
Immensely proud to know and be associated to with her and her non profit. Kudos to the entire team.

I joined Breast Cancer Hub since last year. My son was a summer intern and my daughter raises fund for BCH through her art work. We are so inspired by Dr. Lopa and her team, who works tirelessly day and night with all her patients. Now with Covid, the team has been extremely busy. I feel very proud to be part of this team.

Dr. Lopa has always been an amazing friend, and as soon as she started BCH I knew I wanted to help. I benefitted so much from helping her because I gave back to the community, and I learned things I would never have known without her there to guide me. The people who work in BCH have been working selflessly and devoting their time to others, and I will be eternally thankful for that. I will always be grateful for what she is doing, and the number of lives she saves each day. She is truly an inspiration and anyone should be proud to work by her side.

BCH is a non profit organization constantly thriving to provide education and support to people all over the world . We see many organizations showing sympathy and support but BCH supports with empathy and that’s what makes it stand out. So proud of the founder and her relentless efforts to be there for the people in pain her compassion and dedication towards this noble cause. Honored to be apart of this wonderful cause!
Bharani Gundala, USA
Breast Cancer Hub is doing tremendous work both in terms of spreading awareness about breast cancer, in removing the taboo as well as providing support to those diagnosed with cancer. When I was diagnosed I had no access to a support group but later when I came to know about BCH I realised how easily some of the issues could have been resolved, particularly when it came to dealing with side effects of the treatment and more importantly finding mental strength. Today, whenever I come across anyone diagnosed with cancer I urge them to join BCH so that their journey to regain health becomes a little less arduous. BCH is also doing its bit to make expensive cancer treatment more accessible to those struggling financially.
Anindita Chowdhury, India
Breast Cancer hub is definitely doing a great job guiding people in need in the right direction . With my personal experience I can vouch on their way of working n their team who’s relentlessly managing things to help patients . They are available all the time to solve any doubts regarding the treatment , medicine , side-effects or for that matter anything related to the big C... thanks so much Dr Lopamudra Roy n ur team for bringing the people together and know that we are not alone .

I was introduced to Dr. Lopa through a friend and Lopa connected me to a group of wonderful ladies who were/are in a similar condition. I am forever grateful for all her prompt response, support and guide through my journey. Breast Cancer Hub is one organization that I can say is comprised of selfless individuals who are ready to provide comfort and support as soon as I needed it. Thanks to everyone involved in Breast Cancer Hub and your service to all around the world.

Breast Cancer Hub and Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy have worked tirelessly to broaden access to one of humanity’s most basic needs: healthcare and early cancer detection, particularly in underserved communities. BCH has fought to help strike down the stigmas associated with self-testing, including among men, most of whom would never think to test for breast cancer. Thank you Dr. Lopa for all of your hard work!

I am honored to leave this review about BCH. Lopa has been doing phenomenal work to do with spreading awareness about Breast Cancer. She has been showing tremendous leadership and dedication. With her efforts and the efforts of all involved with BCH there has been quite a positive impact (even in remote villages in India), and the impact will continue to grow bigger and bigger each day!

The Breast Cancer Hub is doing a wonderful job especially for the weaker sections in the Barak Valley zone of South Cachar portion within the district of Assam. Their culture of helping the cancer patients treatment not only morally but with physical support in escorting the patients from their remote homes to the hospitals is indeed a great work which is incredible. Such a work is so commendable and people specially of Bantarapur village as well as tea garden workers in Borokhai area are very much happy to the services provided. I wish Breast Cancer Hub would attain greater height in service of the humanity in near future.

BCH is an extremely good-willed, benevolent, and compassionate Cancer Awareness organization that raises awareness for all cancers, but focuses on Breast and Childhood Cancer. Not only does it offer students the opportunity to volunteer, do research, and use your own thoughts to contribute to the cause, but it also helps people be apart of something for the greater good, which is something everyone should do regardless of what you get in return. BCH is spread out in many countries around the world, and goes around to villages in India that need the help BCH offers. Dr. Lopa, the founder and President of this organization, is such a kind and sweet person, and ready to help anyone and everyone who needs her help.

It’s a shock of lifetime to know about cancer that affects family member. When my wife got detected of breast cancer in the times of Covid, the news was devastating. I needed immediate anchor to get necessary support. Dr. Lopamudra with her BCH initiative could help me with the much needed inputs. She could help sitting miles away in USA to someone in India. The community that BCH has built, is awesome and every member from doctors to patients to caregivers like me, have contributed in healing process of the patients. The information sharing about cancer is spontaneous and honest. BCH also creates various webinars and leaflets to raise general awareness about cancer. Kudos to BCH for giving so much to the society. Wishing it a great journey ahead and may it continue to heal the souls that’s suffering.

The BreastCancerHub is an absolute pleasure to work with. The organisation is devoted towards promoting cancer awareness for not just breast cancer but also other tumor types. The organization is actively working towards adopting villages in India, creating awareness and breaking the taboos related to cancer. Being a part of BCH, I have come to realise that the organization follows all the ethical codes and the information sourced out is authentic and validated by medical professionals. Dr. Lopa is really working hard to help the cancer patients and make people aware. I wish her and the team all the best.

Breast Cancer Hub under the leadership of Dr Lopa is doing great work - especially in the North East part of India . Mostly unexplored territory - they are spreading cancer awareness , teaching self breast examination, and helping the needy to reach hospitals. They even take care of the expenses of the needy .Most appreciable part was the great work BCH done during active Covid pandemic period - supporting the people of Northeast especially people of Assam - hats off !
Congratulations Dr Lopa and team . Great going and good luck for all your future projects.
Happy to be part of the team .

Words cannot express my sincere and heartfelt thanks to Breast Cancer Hub for supporting my Lumpectomy surgery. There was no way I could have handled my financial burden as I cannot even offer paying my school fees as I am an orphan. I am eternally grateful to be able to continue my schooling without my Breast lump issue which has been weighing my physical and mental after hearing the Jingles by Thinking Pink that every Lump or abnormality of the Breast should be taken seriously. That is why I took advantage of the Free Breast screening on International Women’s day on March 8th.
Thank You Breast Cancer Hub
Victoria A-Jackson , Sierra Leone, Africa
I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Breast Cancer Hub for the past couple of years. This organization is not only paving ways for people in the US (men and women) to gain access to cancer treatment clinics and self examination support, but it is also making a huge impact internationally in India and beyond. So many people have benefitted from this organizations efforts. This organization has also helped volunteers and ambassadors like myself get involved and be a part of this change. If it were not for Mrs. Lopamudra Das Roy’s efforts and excellent mentorship I would not have been able to help people in my community battling cancer and have been a direct part of helping others in the patient treatment bucket project along with so much more. Spreading awareness is crucial and BCH is utilizing the effectiveness of spreading the word to its fullest.

I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Breast Cancer Hub from some months now, and as a student I gotta learn many new things I never knew before. My heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy & other team members for their hardwork and genuine contribution, specially towards Bantarapur where I belong. The issue, ‘Breast Cancer’ is one of the most neglected part of our society, so it’s really a challenging work that BCH has been dealing. Not only in spreading awareness but also knowledge about types of cancer, specially on breast, it’s various signs & symptoms, teaching breast self examination and even financially helping to the poors.
All these contributions made by BCH has greatly inspired to many and helped people overcome their difficulties.
Sarita Singha, India
Being a Breast Cancer survivor makes you ask the question... why am I still here? When so many women who went through this with me are gone. BCH is one of those reasons. It allows me to give back and share every day in some small way Instilling hope and educating as many as possible about self exams and breaking the breast cancer taboo.
Evey Cormican, USA
I’ve been part of the BCH India Ambassador family since last year and it’s been one enlightening journey. I approached Lopa mam after listening to various testimonials by cancer patients about the care and counseling BCH provides without any monetary benefit. In a nation that still considers cancer as a taboo even after all these technological advances, BCH is a boon to many cancer patients, survivors and their families. The effort taken by Lopa mam and get team to reach out to every nook and corner of urban and rural parts of India is commendable. Cancer as a disease enthrals me but it horrifies me too. The heartbreaking yet inspiring stories of various cancer survivors and families deserves our attention and the BCH team makes sure of spreading these stories as much as possible.
Early detection is the ultimate key for cancer prevention. It is awfully appalling that most of the cancer related deaths happen due to patients being diagnosed at a later stage and due to the lack of cancer awareness in the community. We perform review research analysis on different types of cancers and we make educational cards about cancer prevention and screening and we spread it among the community. These cards are available in different languages for ease of access
https://www.breastcancerhub.org/educational-cards
These cards are not only educational, they are life saving too. It’s an honor to be a part of the BCH family and to help the community in spreading awareness as much as possible.

The best thing a person can do in her entire life is serve the society. I got an amazing opportunity to break the social taboo associated with cancer by joining BCH. Currently, I am a BCHShimla Ambassador and have worked on projects that aim to spread awareness in the society.

The best part of the organization is its transparency. Nothing remains hidden!. Also, I love the webinars which are conducted on a monthly basis where people share their real life stories and inspire everyone. Dr. Lopa is a gem and her mission to bridge the gap between the developed and the developing nations is commendable.

I interned with Breast Cancer Hub over the past summer, and I can say with confidence that this was one of the most eye-opening experiences I’ve had. Dr. Lopa has done an excellent job at organizing a team of hardworking individuals with the goal of researching different kinds of cancers to spread awareness in different countries. At the conclusion of the internship, I had produced a research paper about pediatric brain tumors with language that is easily accessible by the general public. Dr Lopa’s support in this process was invaluable, and I would definitely recommend this opportunity to anyone interested. Additionally, BCH works efficiently to lower incidence rates and promote prevention techniques globally. The worldwide impact that this organization has had is impressive, and it is definitely a great nonprofit to look into for more information about diagnosis, screening, and overall awareness!

Breast Cancer Hub gave me the wonderful opportunity to learn research skills through the internship program. I was also given the opportunity to hold an outreach event which helped to advocate for cancer awareness. Dr.Lopa was always willing to help me out when I had questions as well as helping me get opportunities to advocate for cancer awareness. I was truly amazed by her passion and dedication towards cancer research and awareness for cancer in developing countries. Breast Cancer Hub is truly an amazing organization and is making a huge positive impact around the world. I am truly grateful to Dr.Lopa for this amazing opportunity!

My experience with BCH has been unforgettable in many ways. I’ve learned so much and acquired so many skills from Dr. Lopa. She is one of the most incredible people I know and the work she does for our society is truly very admirable. The volunteer opportunities provided by BCH to high schoolers, like me, allows us to learn more about cancer and how to break the taboo and normalize it within our society.
Tejaswi Paladugu, USA
Breast Cancer Hub is an admirable organization with its relentless purpose to improve the community, locally and internationally. I became a member of BCH when I got the opportunity to volunteer as a research intern. My role consisted of analyzing symptoms and diagnostic screening tests of bladder and kidney cancer with the intent to bring cancer awareness to low socioeconomic communities within the United States, India, and Africa. My partner and I spent the entire summer working alongside Dr. Lopamudras Das Roy who inspired me due to her unchanging motivation to make a difference, even if it is just one life. I got the chance to be mentored by Dr. Lopa, who is organized, tenacious, humble, and open-minded. At the end of the summer, I was given the opportunity to present my work to families and have my work published on the website. I participated in a fall fundraising event to raise money for BCH which was an interactive, fun, and proactive event that raised over $6,000 dollars to this non-profit organization. Dr. Lopa made sure to make every volunteer feel heard, included, and appreciated. The amount of times she says “thank you” is countless. I am truly honored to be a part of the Breast Cancer Hub Family.

I have interned for Breast Cancer Hub for the past two years and it has been a wonderful experience. The instructions and requirements are straightforward and there is always new information to learn every day. For my first year, I worked for the scientific writing internship where I was able to learn many things I didn’t know about the stages and symptoms of breast cancer. In my second year, I worked for the Digital Marketing internship where I was able to learn about the power of marketing and how to expand our reach. These two years have been a wonderful experience for learning and making friends along the way. I truly recommend interning at BCH if you are passionate about community service and the cancer issue in general. I also can’t express how tirelessly and passionately Dr. Roy has been working to bring change to our community. Thank you!

I have been a part of Breast Cancer Hub for the better part of 2020. It is an amazing initiative undertaken by Dr. Lopamudra to help people in need and crisis from places where services necessary to them may not be readily available. Even on the front of educating the common masses about the effects and various types of cancers by the early detection cards and various seminars is an amazing way to reach to people who have a layman’s grasp over these subjects.
Working with Dr. Lopa while making these cards and spreading this information has helped me get a better perspective on the subject while helping me deliver the message to my folks and friends in a easier manner.

I am immensely thankful to have had the opportunity to work with Breast Cancer Hub (BCH). Dr. Lopa, the founder of BCH, is extremely dedicated to furthering the cause of this organization, and has served as a wonderful mentor through my volunteer projects. BCH is an organization dedicated to deconstructing the taboo surrounding certain cancer types in individuals across gender identities, as well as increasing access to various prevention and treatment methods. Dr. Lopa’s work with BCH within the United States and in multiple developing countries (i.e. India) has enabled her to begin deconstructing relevant taboos and increase access to various prevention and treatment methods.

I can’t thank enough this group who were there with me when I found myself lost. It’s not an easy journey when you are struck with something so big which you hadn’t imagine in your wild dreams: Breast Cancer. They are bunch of wonderful people including survivors, caregivers, oncologists, doctors who are helping relentlessly everyone in need. I am immensely grateful to Dr Lopa, the founder who has given me very practical advises. She connects with everyone at a personal level and makes you feel at home and taken care of. I will highly recommend this group to anyone who wants to be a part of family where members are always happy to help you in any way they can!!

My journey and experience working with Breast Cancer Hub have been very memorable and eye-opening.

Before getting involved with BCH, I was completely unaware of the huge stigma surrounding breast cancer and other related cancers all over the world, including here in the United States. When I participated in the Young Scientist Cancer Meet (a big cancer outreach event hosted by BCH) in 2019, I realized just how important community outreach is when disseminating crucial information, especially regarding public health. I had so much fun with this event and enjoyed it all wholeheartedly!

I loved the opportunity to learn more about my topic, pancreatic cancer, and research the various genetic/hereditary, biochemical, and physiological mechanisms by which this disease works. But, the thing I truly enjoyed was helping to destigmatize the various myths about pancreatic cancer and helping to spread the word about risk factors, early detection, prevention, and treatment. This information is not readily available to a lot of people, and so outreach initiatives like this are vital to help promote awareness.

This same love of outreach and research propelled me to take up a Scientific Writer Internship with BCH, where I could continue my work with this great organization. My job was to research the statistics of various forms of breast cancer, such as carcinoma-in-situ, invasive, and metaplastic breast cancer. I researched the incidence and mortality rates of these cancers in developed and developing regions around the globe, and then put some words behind these numbers.

I got to see first-hand the disparities in healthcare around the globe, and how that is affecting breast cancer incidence and mortality rates in these developing populations.

I got enthralled with my research and learned to understand how important and vital this information is. Moreover, I am so happy that high schoolers like myself are getting the opportunity to be involved with this research.

Everyday, I continue to be impressed and truly delighted to be apart of this organization! Dr. Lopamudra Roy is an inspiration to all, and her work has inspired me to integrate public health outreach initiatives with my extracurricular activities at school, and to continue this in my career. I am forever grateful for getting involved with BCH!

Breast Cancer Hub is a very thought provoking organization which creates awareness about not only Breast cancer but different types of cancer.
Dr. Lopa helps create an awareness about cancer as well as options and guidance for treatments. She organizes events and workshops around the globe to help the ones that are in most need. Her dedication towards this initiative is priceless. She is been mentoring and creating youth ambassadors to make a difference in their life at a very young age. Her involvement in educating everyone is beyond words. Currently the self examination cards are provided in many different languages which is an awesome way of communicating the importance.
During covid, she initiated a program to provide reusable masks for healthcare workers. Everyone started contributing towards this initiative and it made a huge difference during the difficult time.
I am so fortunate to know her and able to contribute to make a difference in someone’s life. Thank you for everything you do Dr. Lopa.

Breast Cancer Hub is a community full of love, education, and awareness. I have volunteered and interned for BCH over the past year and a half, and they have welcomed me into their family very warm-heartedly. It almost felt like I have been a part of BCH since the beginning of the journey. In merely few months of joining BCH I had the opportunity to educate myself on breast cancer as well as other cancer types. The opportunities provided by BCH not only help students succeed in school, but also help them spread awareness and contribute to the world in one way or another.

Breast Cancer Hub is such a wonderful organization that serves an extremely important cause. My first experience with BCH was in March 2019 when my friends and I drove up to North Carolina to partake in the Young Scientist Cancer meet. Ever since then, I have gotten to work much more with the organization and Dr. Roy. Every single volunteer, member, and coordinator in BCH work with so much passion and drive, and it has been such an honor and pleasure working with them on several occasions. Thanks to BCH, I have been able to learn the dangers of breast cancer, importance in spreading awareness for breast cancer, and how amazing this organization truly is!

Its a honor and matter of pride to be associated with BCH as a functional member. I have never behold anyone working so selflessly and relentlessly with a sheer dedication , honesty and compassion towards the cause, the taboo , our society is fighting with each growing day.
This organisation deserves more and more support globally to stride on .

Cheers to Dr Lopamudra Das Roy for being what she is ❤️
I appeal to all to come forward and support the cause and #BreastCancerHub and spread awareness

I completed an internship at Breast Cancer Hub and gained experience that I will value forever. Dr.Lopa is one of the most passionate people that I have ever met and she has continued to work hard to support those with breast cancer, help people learn about breast cancer, and debunk the myths that surround breast cancer. When I first joined Breast Cancer Hub, I was not even aware that men could get breast cancer. Through Breast Cancer Hub, I learned about the taboos surrounding breast cancer, how to self examine, and many other important facts regarding breast cancer. Through my internship, Dr. Lopa trusted me and her other interns to spread information using several social media platforms. From Tik Tok to Instagram, Dr. Lopa allowed us to be creative, innovative, and different. We were able to learn and present about breast cancer but also make a true difference in the community. Such a wonderful organization and I am so happy I could contribute.

The Breast Cancer Hub Corporation (BCH)and it’s non-profit events were introduced to us by one of my close friends whose son participated in the event and was had a great experience.
When I met LopaMudra DasRoy to see if my daughter could participate and help as a volunteer for the BCH events, I didn’t realize how much goes into coordinating, planning, organizing and managing these events. LopaMudra has two young children of her own, but the amount of effort and dedication she puts into helping these teenagers research, interview, learn and present for their breast cancer related charity events is unmeasurable.

Not only did my daughter learned a lot, so did I. We did not know that breast cancer impacts men too. I saw my 14 year old go through a positive transformation while participating in BCH events. She found a true mentor and role model in LopMudra and so did I.

BCH performs significant work in bringing breast cancer awareness to our youth, who in turn educate their friends and family; and may one day become a researcher, scientist or doctor who champions the research for breast cancer or treat/support the individuals who are dealing with it.

Thank you Dr. DasRoy for your selfless devotion and dedication to this effort.

Being a digital marketing intern at the Breast Cancer Hub was one of the highlights of my high school career. Dr. Das Roy is not only exceptionally devoted to spreading information about breast cancer to all areas of the world, but also to helping her students. As a mentor, she guided me throughout my internship and was open to new, unexplored methods of digital marketing. The BCH is extremely dedicated to outreach, and all of the funds go back into keeping operations running. I was extremely impressed at the commitment to community service. Dr. Das Roy’s passion for helping people is contagious, and I could not have been happier to work with her.

It’s been about a year I have been a part of BCH- India. The organization brings the best. I highly appreciate Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy’s efforts in taking this initiative for the good. The population around the world takes Breast Cancer as a taboo which needs to break and she is making every way possible with youth- students and working professionals to make this possible. I wish soon we see people more self aware and confident share things openly.
Bhavinee Dixit, India
Breast Cancer Hub (BCH) is the first nonprofit organization I have work in my life as a voluntary and research field in Epidemiology study, I can say that being new to this kind of study at the grassroots level is very difficult and the level of guidance, mentorship Dr. Lopa ma’am has provided is just outstanding. I could never think of coming this far in a research study without proper guidance and mentorship from Dr. Lopa ma’am.

I had the privilege to meet Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy ma’am for the first time in ADP College, Nagaon back in August 2019 where she was presenting a workshop on “Detection & Early Screening of Breast Cancer” and I was amazed and inspired by the wonderful work she has done these years. Her presentation was inspirational and I still remember I came forward and asked her for a photograph. So to speak you can imagine how hard she has worked for the community in helping people educate breast cancer and awareness. Breast Cancer Hub is an outstanding example of her hard work, leadership, and dedication. I feel very privileged and humbled to work with Dr. Lopamudra Das Roy ma’am under Breast Cancer Hub on the Epidemiology Research Study. As a part of the team, I can say that the donations received by the BCH are completely driven towards helping others. It is completely worth it and the experience is very positive and research-driven. BCH is one of the top-rated nonprofit organizations. The vision of BCH says everything, SAVER - Save Lives by Awareness, Volunteering, Education and Research. BCH is an amazing place to learn and share about breast cancer, cancer symptoms and signs, awareness and education, early detections, and many more.

I am very happy to do my first research project under the guidance of Dr. Lopa Ma’am under Breast Cancer Hub. My love and best wishes go to Lopa Ma’am and all the volunteers and advisors who are working seamlessly under the BCH community in making a change and believing in possibilities.

I first got involved with Breast Cancer Hub about 2 years ago in March of 2019. I, alongside a few other of my friends, drove up to North Carolina from Georgia to attend the Young Scientist Cancer meet where we felt so unbelievably welcomed. Not only can I say that this organization, its members, and Dr.Roy are beyond kind and considerate but I can honestly say that every one of them work with strong purpose. During these last two years, I have had the opportunites of a lifetime thanks to this organization and have met amazing people along the way.

Breast Cancer Hub nurtures a supportive community of intellect, awareness, and sincerity. I interned for this incredible non-profit organization, and left with not just information about Uterine and other cancers, but the drive to continue Dr. Lopa’s work and continue to spread cancer awareness, as well as volunteer for BCH. Truly a people-serving organization, Breast Cancer Hub clearly highlights devotion towards the community without expectation. I am very honored to be a part of the BCH family!

I cannot thank Breast Cancer Hub and Thinking Pink enough for supporting me with 2 months supply of Targeted therapy. I am a mother of (6) six and didn’t know anything about Breast Cancer Prior to my diagnosis. I sought local herbs when I noticed my Peaud’orate on my Right Breast two (2) years back. I was directed to Thinking Pink by my neighbor after I told her about my Breast Condition. I am a vegetable trader and very weak financially, Thinking Pink paid my surgery and now supporting me again with funds from Breast Cancer Hub for my medication.
“Thank you Breast cancer Hub, Thank You Thinking Pink, Life Is Precious….who will take Care if I die and they’re so young”!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Breast Cancer Hub (BCH) has a wonderful vision with a wonderfully devoted team. The BCH community is diverse and inclusive, with many opportunities for the youth and elderly to participate. I first got involved with Breast Cancer Hub last year as a Scientific Writer Intern. At first, the process was overwhelming, but under the guidance of Dr.Lopa and the other Board of Directors, such as Dr. Alan Cheng, I was able to synthesize an informative article that I was proud of. From my time at BCH, I have connected with a large community of like-minded individuals, to which I am incredibly grateful. Overall, Breast Cancer Hub is a wonderful organization with an inclusive network!

This past summer, I worked as an intern with Breast Cancer Hub, and it was an amazing experience. I gained a great deal of knowledge about the challenges faced by breast cancer screening, the value of cultural sensitivity in global health, and other topics. Additionally, Dr. Lopa has been wonderful to deal with; she clearly has a devotion and passion for this organization, and I am pleased to have had the chance to work with her. I wholeheartedly endorse the BCH internship to any other students who are eager to impact global health.

I am a youth ambassador for Breast Cancer Hub I am very lucky to have gotten the opportunity to work with Breast Cancer Hub because they are such an amazing nonprofit organization. It is really great that they are empowering the younger generations by teaching them about cancer so that they can spread this information on and change the lives of the people around them. There are so many hard working people who genuinely care about spreading knowledge and awareness about breast cancer and cancer in general. They have so many great resources available and such an amazing impact on not only our community but our the world. Working with Breast Cancer Hub has taught me so much and helped me to change the lives of the people in my community.
Aditi Kandukuri, USA
I have been observing the initiatives done by the entire Breast cancer hub. It really takes a lot of effort to come out in front of the public and give the confidence for the cancer patients and provide awareness. I am really inspired by the way, the entire team works on breaking the cancer taboo and making more people come out from their fear.
I strongly believe that even the smallest effort has benefited the minority of the society struggling for their existence despite of their cancer.
Shakthi P, India
Very reliable organization. Hard working team who are humble and ready to help.

My experience with hosting seminars to share knowledge and raise awareness for breast cancer in India was incredible. I really enjoyed being able to help others by spreading the knowledge and educating people on the facts about breast cancer. Helping them understand and explaining what the societal and health implications of the taboo and ignorance that are so deeply ingrained into our minds was wonderful, and it felt amazing to know that I was helping to make a difference.

I want to thank Breast Cancer Hub for paying for my Histopathology. Prior to my surgery, the Medical team at Thinking Pink offered free counseling to me as I had no knowledge about what Breast Cancer is. Thank you Breast Cancer Hub for your support towards patients like myself; I have promised “Thinking Pink” that I would be part of their advocacy team to sensitize teenage girls’. Thank you once again for your most needed funding.
Emmanuella Rogers , Sierra Leone, Africa
Being associated with Breast Cancer Hub has been one of the best decisions of my life. The values and human service that this non-profit organization stands for has built empathy in me and made all my volunteering experiences with them extremely rewarding.
Rachana Rao, USA
As a Research Awareness Coordinator and Digital Marketing Intern for Breast Cancer Hub, I was amazed at the organization’s dedication to normalizing the taboo of female health topics in vulnerable populations. I’ve known Dr. Lopa Das Roy since I was a child and she has truly been an inspiration in showing me what it means to work hard, follow your passions, and be humble. I have always wanted to study public health as a health policy and management major, and was especially interested in female health rights. I cultivated my interest in reproductive health policy by targeting NC’s South Asian population through BCH. Working with a group of peers to research Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), I wanted each individual’s contribution to be reflected in our final presentation, developing active listening skills. We collaborated by bouncing ideas off one another, maintaining consistent communication, and sharing our findings at a science conference. Furthermore, I was involved in small-group discussions and tabled at cultural events for BCH, allowing me to gain interpersonal skills within the public health domain. I also conversed with medical professionals, who provided insight to difficulties within the healthcare system such as socioeconomic status, disability status, and location. Taking on the role of a Digital Marketing Intern, I also curated content that would raise awareness for BCH, giving me perspective between the intersection of healthcare and marketing. I really enjoyed being a marketing intern because I learned how to use modern digital tools to engage others in my passions. I researched the success of my marketing strategy by establishing key metrics such as changes in average social media interaction. I presented my strategy to professionals, who provided constructive feedback that I implemented in my campaign.

BCH, Breast Cancer Hub, is an amazing organization that is doing a lot for society including very small village citizens. It is spreading awareness about breast cancer, information on important facts and symptoms, self-examination, and contacts for assistance and support! So proud of Dr. Lopa and my sister Srilaxmi Gunda through them I am also trying to giving back something good to the community. BCH is indeed doing amazing contribution to our community

I attended the BCH organized seminar on October 4 and was so impressed with the entire experience.
It was extremely well organized with very knowledgeable and passionate speakers and what impressed me most was that all aspects of the disease including its psychological implications were so well discussed.
Thank you very much for all that you do and for the thorough, excellent talks.
I enjoyed every moment of it. I had planned to attend as much as I could but I could not get myself to leave.
Dr. Ratna Dhingra, USA
I realised how much work you have put Lopa in for the workshops, how logically we progressed from one aspect to another on breast cancer. The speakers were really articulate and the survivors inspiring and I knew how difficult it is for them to relate the painful experiences which we all wish to push down to the darkest corner of our minds and never speak of them. Thank you Lopa and all the speakers.
Anindita Chowdhury, India
Thanks a ton Dr Lopa for an excellent beginning to mark October Breast Cancer month with a very Insightful presentation by excellent Speakers.

Wow, where do I even begin? My journey with Breast Cancer Hub (mentor: Dr Lopamudra Das Roy) has not only been very memorable, but it has been very eye-opening. I was completely unaware of the huge stigma and taboo surrounding breast cancer and other related cancers in several developed and underdeveloped parts of the world. When I participated in the Young Scientist Cancer Meet last year, I realized just how important community outreach is and how much I enjoyed it. I loved the opportunity to learn more about my topic, pancreatic cancer, and research the various genetic/hereditary, biochemical, and physiological mechanisms by which this virus works. But, the thing I truly enjoyed was helping to destigmatize the various myths about pancreatic cancer and helping to spread the word about risk factors, early detection, prevention, and treatment. This information is not readily available to a lot of people, and so outreach initiatives like this are vital to help promote awareness.
This same love of outreach and research propelled me to take up a Scientific Writer Internship with BCH, where I could continue my work and help this great organization. My job was to research the statistics of various forms of breast cancer like carcinoma in-situ and invasive and metaplastic breast cancer. I researched the incidence and mortality rates of these cancers in developed and developing regions around the globe, and then put some words behind these numbers. I explained the statistics in terms of local taboos, access to healthcare, outreach initiatives and campaigns, and pathologist to patient ratios. I am proud to be apart of this organization!

My name is Aditi Kandukuri and I’ve been doing sessions as a Breast Cancer Hub youth ambassador to raise awareness about breast cancer. I really enjoyed Dr. Lopa’s mentoring session because she gave a lot of good information but it was presented in a way that was very easy to understand. She also talked a lot about risk factors and how cancer is formed in our bodies, both of these things are really an eye-opener for me because I didn’t know a lot of these things. I also love conducting sessions because it makes me feel as if I’m helping my community by spreading awareness about what I already know. A lot of people didn’t know breast cancer is not just women’s cancer and it can occur in men. A lot of people also reached out to me after the session saying that they had people in their families who had breast cancer and discussion really helped them take some precautions in their own homes. Thank you very much to Dr. Lopa for giving me this amazing opportunity and I hope they’re more in the future
Aditi Kandukuri, USA, 2020
I am feeling so well and useful as if I have been given a purpose, as I am now a member of this organisation who came out to this dark word where people are ready to die but dare to talk or pronounce “the word” “Cancer”....each corner of the world as you say Mam, is connected by this taboo. But not anymore its because of this organisation... I will do my best to spread awareness and try to counsel people to speak more about it.
Thank you Mam
Debashree Purkayastha, India
For the past two months, July and August, I have enjoyed working with BCH to spread awareness about cancer and early detection awareness. I joined this BCH internship because I know many cancer survivors in both, Charlotte and India. I also wanted to help and save lives. As part of my contribution to BCH, I decided to develop an app to help spread the message into the rural villages of India. Most of rural India has access to mobile phones and cellular networks. With this is mind, BCH can spread its reach to more villages through word of mouth instead of being physically present. With all of these factors in mind, I started to work on the app.

As I have progressed through the internship, I have really enjoyed working with my peers and mentors. I have fostered and relished many friendships. So far, have developed a couple of features on the app. I plan on working on the app, finishing the app , and eventually publishing the app.

I attended a seminar on COVID and it’s affects in Breast cancer patients today hosted by the Breast Cancer Hub. It was an outstanding, educational and informative event providing details on both COVID and its effects and implications for active cancer patients based on what is known today. The medical professional presentations were very clear and easy for a non-medic to understand. I highly recommend that you take time to watch the recording when it is posted. Bravo!!

I’m so proud to be joining this foundation with Dr. Lopa Das Roy and be given the opportunity to support her vision and efforts to expose and educate women and men around the globe about breast cancer. My mom is a breast cancer survivor and it was her awareness to breast cancer and detecting early signs that ultimately saved her life. What Dr. Das Roy is doing is truly remarkable. I have the pleasure of knowing Dr. Das Roy as she is one of my classmates at Northwestern Kellogg School of Business and am honored to be joining her foundation.
Nicole Vorkapic, USA,2018
She has a dream, vision, passion and a very simple goal and that is......to save as many lives as possible across the globe via early detection, awareness, education and research of breast cancer in women and men. In addition, there are few fundamental challenges that we need to solve in healthcare, society, consciousness and our thought process with your help, help from friends, family, healthcare providers, advocates and breast cancer patients. That is all about Breast Cancer Hub and its Founder, Dr Lopamudra Das Roy. She is a a Breast Cancer Scientist with major accolades and accomplishments in career but did quit her career while pursuing her Executive MBA from Kellogg Business School at Northwestern University and started this new chapter to follow her dream, make a real difference and drive results. Please come and join us to drive this transformation and support the cause.
