Associate Medical Director, Wunderman Thompson Health

Cary, North Carolina

I am a biologist with several years of academic and industry research experience in oncology.  I received my doctoral training from University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and postdoctoral training from University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and Duke University. While working at Duke, I became interested in clinical research, which inspired me to join a CRO that specializes in early-stage oncology clinical trials. I worked with the clinical operations, scientific development, and business development teams in various capacities. I also worked at MedThink, a medical communications agency in North Carolina, where I create scientific materials to support promotional activities of pharmaceutical companies. Additionally, I serve on the editorial board of Cancer Cell International journal that focuses on publishing data from in-vitro cancer studies.

My passion is to keep learning, find answers to challenging questions, and share my knowledge with others.

During my spare time, I enjoy gardening and painting.

Mission statement:
Breast Cancer Hub’s mission is noble and is truly unique from other NGOs as it is built on a strong scientific foundation, where clinicians and basic science researchers are striving together to build BCH’s programs. Serving as a Scientific Advisor in BCH offers exciting opportunities to develop strategic scientific initiatives and also aid the organization in fulfilling its mission.
