I have always been highly passionate about Immunology and its application to fathom a grave disease such as cancer. The advent of immunotherapy as a weapon to fight cancer further speaks to its strength and longevity to cure and treat cancers. Having spent 10 years as a translational scientist in the field of Head and Neck cancers and Melanoma at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NY and Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, I have learnt the valuable lesson of perseverance and leaving no stone unturned in finding the best immunotherapy targets and regimen. I am driven by the quest to take immunotherapy from bench to bedside as viable treatment options for cancer patients all over the world.

I am also extremely- passionate about spending quality time with my family- 2 rambunctious boys and a supportive husband who inspire and motivate me to be a better, wholesome person and thereby a better scientist.

My love for the outdoors, people and gastronomy add more colors to my vibrant life.

Mission statement:
The mission to educate people about breast cancer, its early detection ,prevention and treatment resonates with me and I would love to be its torch bearer.
