ZEID AMER

BCH NORTH GEORGIA CHAPTER

CO-DIRECTOR

My name is Zeid Amer and I’m currently a rising Junior at Alliance Academy for Innovation in Cumming, GA. I am currently in the Healthcare pathway at my school where I have been CPR trained and on my path to learning EMR. I am also an active member in my school’s Hosa chapter attending competitions and volunteering. Some places I like to volunteer are at elderly homes and for CHOA whenever I have spare time. I have this dream to pursue a career in Orthodontics to help kids and adults smile with confidence. I also have many hobbies, but some things that I like to do are playing soccer and longboarding. I also like to spend time with my family and friends when I am not working at Dunkin’ Donuts.

Mission Statement: I believe that many people don’t know that men can be diagnosed with breast cancer. In our society men feel ashamed to open up about breast cancer symptoms and are worried how people will think of them. As a man in our society I believe that it is my responsibility to bring awareness to this topic to educate both males and females to break this stigma. With breast cancer being one of the most common cancers worldwide and in the United States I believe that BCH can help by spreading awareness to both males and females, raise funds, and educate both genders about breast cancer all around the world to ensure survival rates. For this reason I am excited to be a part of BCH and I am excited to see what each and every one of us accomplishes for this cause to ensure people with breast cancer get the help that they deserve and need.
