Care package for Breast Cancer thrivers, BCH Support Group, USA

Thinking about our Breast Cancer Hub (BCH) Cancer Fighters/Thrivers across the USA, this Holiday season, December 2022, and sending warmth and comfort. This couldn’t have happened without the support of Pam Skillman and Debra Bunker who stitched mastectomy or lumpectomy comfort pillows with a pocket that allows using cold or hot pack as part of the healing and is also helpful post-treatment, to use in the surgery area. Thank you, Debra, Barbara Baker, and Pam, for the knitted chemo hats we could provide to a few of our Fighters/Thrivers.

We are grateful if we can serve our Cancer Fighters, a token of our love and care. Thank you, Agastya and Agneya, for helping me with the packing and shipping of the care package.

I am extremely thankful to Debra Bunker (Cabarrus Knit/Crochet/Sewing Charity Group) for reaching out in April 2022, and our discussions gave me hope to create prototypes for our Cancer patients in the USA, with essential items required during the treatment process.
