December 9, 2021: Dept of Zoology, Gauhati University (Seminar on Breast Cancer Challenges & Preventative measures & future Breast Cancer Hub Research study collaboration) – Humbled to be invited by Dr Manas Das & appreciate the kindest gestures & support from Dr Manas, Dr Jogen Chandra Kalita, Dr P.K Saikia,Dr Manuj Bharali,Dr Malabika Kakati Saikia, Dr B.Khonikor, Dr B. Mech, Dr H. Choudhury. It was so fulfilling when post session, the students came forward to spread the word about early detection & prevention in their network & also were enthusiastic to participate in the BCH Epidemiology research study in the Guwahati & surrounding areas, which we plan to execute in collaboration with the Zoology Dept, Guwahati University in future. So touched with your warmth & kind gestures.

On behalf of Breast Cancer Hub, post session, we distributed the Breast Self Exam Cards in Assamese & English and the BCH Brochures with the QR code of Breast Self Exam cards in 24 languages & also QR code of Early detection Cards for other prevalent cancers, to download & share in the network with BCH contact information, so that any suspicious case can reach out to me if need any further guidance, support & counseling & we can navigate in the right direction, help detect & treat early as early detection is the key to saving lives.
