It was a pleasure meeting Mrs. Supti Shyam, 62 yrs, on 4th August, 2018! Thanks to Mrs. Shibani and Tomali Brahmacharji for connecting me to Mrs. Supti Shyam. Mrs. Shyam felt the lump and for almost a year delayed her diagnosis being shy and ignorant. She thought since Breast cancer doesn't run in her family, so she also wouldn't get it. Since she was so busy balancing work and family, she totally neglected her own health. Hats off to Mrs. Shyam for speaking about her journey so that others can learn about the importance of taking care of Breast health and address the issue immediately to family and doctor unlike her journey where due to shyness & ignorance, she delayed her diagnosis for one year! Mrs. Shyam is very thankful to her wonderful family, her husband Mr. Bikash Shyam and her sons Dr. Biswadeep Shyam. And Mr. Biswaroop Shyam.
So amazed meeting such a brave woman, Mrs. Supti Shyam who is an inspiration for the mankind!
