Devaraj Das is a co-founder at Hortonworks and is responsible for the development of products in the Big Data space and in the Cloud space. Before Hortonworks, Devaraj was a senior engineer at Yahoo! Inc, where he led teams in the space of Apache Hadoop Big Data technologies. Devaraj Das started his career at a Hewlett Packard division in Bangalore in 1997. He did his Masters in Science from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, India.

Mission statement
Breast cancer is one of the leading cause of death in women in the world. When I came to know about Breast Cancer Hub, I was very eager to be a part of it. It is an opportunity to be a part of the battle to raise awareness about breast cancer, and I sincerely hope to make a difference. I am based in California and I am hoping that I can spread the awareness about breast cancer in the city I live and in the surrounding cities, carry on the mission here, and make a positive difference to the society in general.
