Surchandra Singha's mother died 10 years back due to metastatic Breast Cancer, detected at last stage. They were not aware of the Breast Cancer screening & symptoms. Surchandra is very grateful to Breast Cancer Hub & our team at Bantarapur, for going door to door and performing Cancer screening, and taking suspicious high risk cases to Cachar Cancer Hospital. “

We are going to each member, each household, maintaining database for follow up while conducting the Breast Cancer Screening, Oral Cancer Screening & discussing the signs & symptoms of Cervical, Colon, Stomach, Head & neck, Lung & other type of Cancers. Any suspicious cases, we take the patients to Cachar Cancer Hospital for further diagnosis. We further take care of Cancer Treatment, Management & palliative care. We speak about Cancer preventable measures & campaign against Tobacco consumption in any form.

The 11 Villages BCH adopted since February 2020: Sundari Part-I, Sundari Part-II, Sundari Part-III, Sundari Part-IV, Boali (Boalihaor), Sentcatherine, Bhorakhai, Bidruhipar, Bhaurikandi-I, Bhaurikandi-II, Dharamkhal.
