Patient (19 years), Sierra Leone, Africa: Testimony: “Words cannot express my sincere and heartfelt thanks to Breast Cancer Hub for supporting my Lumpectomy surgery. There was no way I could have handled my financial burden as I cannot even offer paying my school fees as I am an orphan. I am eternally grateful to be able to continue my schooling without my Breast lump issue which has been weighing my physical and mental after hearing the Jingles by Thinking Pink that every Lump or abnormality of the Breast should be taken seriously. That is why I took advantage of the Free Breast screening on International Women’s day on March 8th”.

Patient history: At 19 years Patient (Name undisclosed) requested Thinking Pink Foundation’s help during Awareness/ Sensitization and Participated in the free Breast Screening which was held to Commemorate the International Women’s Day at our Office. During her Clinical examination there was a of lump on her left Breast and was advised by the Doctor to undergo a Lumpectomy Surgery and present Specimen for Biopsy. With funds from Breast Cancer Hub she has undergone a successful Lumpectomy Surgery and Specimen has been presented for Biopsy.
