Currently working as Assistant professor in department of Zoology, Anandaram Dhekial Phukon College, Nagaon, Assam. Guest faculty in Post Graduate department of Herbal Science and technology, A.D.P. College. Obtained doctorate degree in Molecular biology (Genetic toxicology) from Assam university, Silchar. Has 12 years of research and teaching experience. Has guided research projects of graduate and post graduate students. Published book on toxicology and several popular science and research articles.
Mission Statement:
With a background of working on precancerous lesions in patients during my PhD work, I have always felt the necessity for creating awareness as a major tool for cancer prevention and treatment. Breast cancer is on the rise and there is lot of lacuna in knowledge dissemination about it among the people. I would like to contribute in creating awareness about it among the rural and urban populace and also in conducting grass root level research regarding health status and occurrence among the people of Nagaon district.
