The cases of cancer related deaths have been considerably increasing in this part of Assam.
In maximum cases it is found that the detection is done only in the advanced stage. Specially the women folks who are affected by breast cancer are not able to realize the presence of the deadly disease due to hesitation in discussing with family members or even doctors. Inability to do self detection due to lack of knowledge and awareness is resulting in the loss of many lives. After coming to know about BREAST CANCER HUB, and the excellent work it is doing in creating awareness among common people about the simple methods for self-detection of breast cancer , I felt the need of collaborating with the initiative and carry forward the same to the rural areas where our artisans are deprived of basic medical facilities.
