Diganta Borkakati, by profession a businessman runs his own printing business. He resides in a small town, Amguri (Sivasagar), Assam where he founded a play school “ Deuka’. He also holds electrical supervisory licensee under Assam Electrical Board. He has been involved in different cultural, social organizations. He is an active member of Police Public relation Committee, SEWA The Service Amguri, Advisory member of Amguri Sports Association and Puberoon Silpi Samaj.
He founded his own Non-Governmental Organization where he serves as Treasurer.
Mission statement:
Our NGO, Navayog will work together with BCH, in order to spread awareness on Breast Cancer among people in Sivasagar districts and nearby areas.
We are very proud that our NGO (NAVAYUG) has a special part which is the “Health & Family Welfare”. Our region is very backward, and there has not been any awareness program on Health & Family welfare ever before. So we are going to organize awareness program on the topic of “Breast Cancer” with the help of your NGO (Breast Cancer HUB) and we will fully co-operate with you.
It is very clear that there was not any awareness program held in our locality. But it is the real fact that “Breast Cancer” is now heavily affected in our society. So we are so glad that your NGO is going to organize such a program with us. We assure you that we are ready to co-operate and any kind of help to your NGO for this awareness program in our locality. One of the main purposes of our NGO is awareness among the citizen on health & family welfare.
