September 2024, Aberdeen Market, Sierra Leone: The “One Community per Month Breast Cancer Screening Campaign” by Breast Cancer Hub (BCH) in partnership with Thinking Pink Breast Cancer Foundation (TPBCF). One hundred nine (109) individuals were screened (106 Females and 3 Males), and we detected eighteen (18) abnormalities. Additionally, we raised awareness about the importance of early detection screening and provided breast self-exam resources and instructions. The screening camp was executed with funds from Breast Cancer Hub.
