Marlyn Washburn:
as told by wife Patricia Washburn

  • Metastatic male breast cancer, Stage IV: Diagnosed December, 2016
  • Died May 26, 2017
  • Duration: 5 months

When my husband was diagnosed with breast cancer, I searched the internet and did not find much help available to us.  Unfortunately, I did not find the Male Breast Cancer Coalition link at that time either.  After I had the original wrap put on my car declaring “Breast Cancer Does NOT Discriminate…MEN TOO”, the director of the Male Breast Cancer Coalition, Peggy Miller, contacted me.  Since that time I have been very active with the Coalition.

Today I had new decals added to my car to include the Male Breast Cancer Coalition logo.  This is such an amazing family to be a part of, and they have “family” members around the world.  I truly believe that #TogetherWeWillChangetheWorld !!!

Help us get the message out that  #MenHaveBreastsToo .
