I am a young researcher who is born and married in Defense family. I topped my Masters (Biochemistry) exam in 2009 and joined Banaras Hindu University on Junior research fellowship. Further, I acquired PhD (Life Science) degree from Assam University (2017) and was awarded with prestigious ICMR-Post Doctoral Research Fellowship in 2018.
Presently, I am working on my Post-Doctoral project funded by ICMR at National Centre for Pre-Clinical and genetic toxicology at NIRRH, Mumbai. My research interest is to study the association between epigenetic changes caused by early life exposure to Endocrine disruptor chemicals and the onset of disease during adulthood.
I love travelling and exploring exotic lands. I have been fortunate enough to observe closely the diverse culture and tradition of varied Indian communities. In this short span of life, I feel I was fortunate to live in almost all the parts of ‘land of Diversity- India’ from J&K to Chennai and from North East to west.
